Ya Ramadan!,
A blessed month is casting its shadow upon us
A night of this month is better than a thousand months
Bear with patience for the sake of Ar-Rahman
It’s a continuous training to strengthen our Imaan.
Glory be to Allah who sent Ramadan as a mercy to mankind
Its a purification of our soul, our heart, and our mind
With the most sincere devotion and love we fast
To be cleansed and free from sins of the past
Glorified is He, who choseth this holy month,
To test our sabr and fill our hearts with warmth
Of his Divine Light, His blessings shall glow,
The Seer of the unseen, all He does know
Ya Allah! For thee, let my breath be more pleasant than musk
Ya Allah! For thee, let me be thankful when day turns to dusk
My thoughts and heart are purified, my eyes truly see’
This blessed month, the month of spiritual rhapsody!
Ya Allah! For thee, my life I shall live!
Ya Allah! For thee, my soul I shall give!
In the name of Allah, the most Merciful, the most Kind,
Praise be to Allah, who sent Ramadan as a gift to mankind

Muslimah]
My sister, O my sister
So fragile, vulnerable and weak..
You’re a playful flower amidst the mature varying blossoms
Unmindful of the danger of deception..
Beloved, you were innocent then..
But now,
Gone were the days when you shine purely ..
So brightly, peacefully and chastely..
I fear that the truth may give you harm
That your fading charm,
truly gave me an alarm..
My sister, dear sister..
Today, I know not what to do..
for what’s happening is because of you..
And you might shed tears but I might not dry them..
you may shout out of pain and I might not comfort you..
you might feel like dying and I might not do anything..
Sister, O my sister..
We are too young to be old,
and too old to be young in the future..
You may deny,
and I as well..
But then I know something that I would tell
This shall give me ease if not bliss..
Today, I shall give my full trust and obedience
to the One who loved me right from the start..
My Savior, My Rabb, My Whole
Yaa Allaah SWT. .
Protect me and the whole Muslimat
Forgive us and grant us Jannaah.
Allahumma Ameen.

Poem of The Day – Allhmadullilah!
As I rise each day,
ALHAMDULILAH I say.
As I put on my dress,
ALHAMDULILAH I express.
As I fill my empty plate,
ALHAMDULILAH I state.
As I make ready to strive,
ALHAMDULILAH for another day alive.
As I hear the birds sing,
ALHAMDULILAH for the melody they bring.
As I watch the sun rise,
ALHAMDULILAH for my eyes.
As I wash in the stream,
ALHAMDULILAH I am clean.
As I pray my Salat,
ALHAMDULILAH for the best start.
As I share my gifts with neighbours,
ALHAMDULILAH for ALLAH’S favours.
As I delight with my family,
ALHAMDULILAH for their care for me.
As I pray for forgiveness,
ALHAMDULILAH for deliverance.
As I open the Quran,
ALHAMDULILAH for my Imaan.
As I understand and take heed,
ALHAMDULILAH ALHAMDULILAH,
For all the good I receive.

As you take leave of us, we sadly say:
“Farewell 0 month of Ramadan.”As you take leave of us, we sadly say:
“Farewell 0 month of Kindness.”As you take leave of us, we sadly say:
“Farewell 0 month of High status.”As you take leave of us, we sadly say:
“Farewell 0 month of Salvation.”As you take leave of us, we sadly say:
“Farewell 0 month of Divine Integrity.”When this month of fasting arrives, all
true believers become ecstatic.They all say in one voice: “We shall all
enjoy worshipping our Creator Most High
with consistency.”The true believers are overjoyed at the
arrival of this month, their hearts
becoming filled with the invocation of the
Almighty’s name.They free themselves from wrongful
innovations and infidelity.You are on your way and they all profess
their sadness.Oh! Alas! How negligent we have been. Oh
woe unto us! We have lost forever, the
benefits of this auspicious month.Alas! Alas! We have been blessed to meet
with you, 0 month of Divine Light, after an
entire year. Every heart is abounding in the
remembrance of the Creator, Most High.Day in and day out, Divine Light descends
on us in the days of your visit. Because of
you, the true believers were joyous
continuously. You are now taking leave,
and they are all feeling a sense of grief.Oh illuminating month, you are truly a
month full of strange bounties.
The Creator Most High is pleased with the
true believers.You are making every heart your captive.
Loving you is an experience on its own.
How is it at all possible for us to calculate
your status?You have brought the pleasure of the
Almighty Creator on us.The sounds of Taraawih could be heard everywhere.
We were avid in our worship day and
night.You were so full of strange bounties, O
month of good qualities.Every true believer’s heart, La’l, was alive
because of you dear month of Ramadan.Why should we not lament your departure?
May the Creator Most High show us your grace again, quickly.

Yes…Hijab is my Beauty!!
What do you see when you look at me,
Do you see someone limited, or someone free,
All some people can do is just look and stare, Simply because they can’t see my hair…Others think I am controlled and uneducated, They are so thankful that they are not me, Because they would like to remain ‘free’, Well free isn’t exactly the word I would’ve used, Describing women who are cheated on and abused,
They think that I do not have opinions or voice, They think that being hooded isn’t my choice, They think that the hood makes me look caged, That my husband or dad is totally outraged,
All they can do is look at me in fear, And in my eye there is a tear,
Not because I have been stared at or made fun of,But because people are ignoring the One up above,
On the Day of Judgment they will be the fools,
Because they were too ashamed to play by their own rules,Maybe the guys won’t think I am a cutie,
But at least I am filled with more inner beauty,
See I have declined from being a guy’s toy,
Because I won’t let my self be controlled by a boy,Real men are able to appreciate my mind,
And aren’t busy looking at my behind,
Hooded girls are the ones really helping the Muslim cause,
The role that we play definitely deserves applause,I will be recognized because I am smart and bright,
And because some people are inspired by my sight,
The smart ones are attracted by my tranquility,
In the back of their mind they wish they were me,We have the strength to do what we think is right,
Even if it means putting up a life long fight,
You see we are not controlled by a mini skirt and tight shirt,
We are given only respect, and never treated like dirt,So you see, we are the ones that are free and liberated,
We are not the ones that are sexually terrorized and violated,
We are the ones that are free and pure,
We’re free of standard’s that have no cure,When people ask you how you feel about the hood,
Just sum it up by saying ‘baby its all good’.. 😉

Remember Just Remember
When things are down
And you are out of your mind
Remember just remember
Allah is The Kind.
When your life is in darkness
And nothing is right
Remember just remember
Through the darkness,
Allah is The Light.
When nothing makes sense
And your heading for demise
Remember just remember
It doesn’t make sense, but Allah is The Wise.
When times are troubled
And no one seems to care
Remember just remember
Allah won’t hurt you, He is The Fair.
When your heart is breaking
And your pain makes you fall
Remember just remember
Allah Sees it all.
When you are weak
And the road seems long
Remember just remember
Seek strength from The Strong.
When life is a burden
And everything is unstable
Remember just remember
Allah is The Able.
When the way is cloudy
And there is no one by your side
Remember just remember
Allah is The Only Guide.
When no one wants to listen
Or is willing to lend an ear
Remember just remember
Allah is always ready to hear.
When you are poor and penniless
And you are stuck in a niche
Remember just remember
Allah is The Rich.
When you are down in your misery
And there is nowhere to run
Remember just remember
You can always run to The One.
And when your scars are hurting
And your heart is in fear
Remember just remember
Allah is really here.
