learn a lot about islam through this post .
keep sharing such a posts .

I believe that some Muslims have committed some of the worst acts in manlind’s history. But Christians are just as guilty. ANY group of people has bad in it. What I fail to see is why Muslims and Christians can’t seem to get along. I see the Koran and the Bible as a set of 2 books that should be read together. So many of the teachings are the same. Why can’t everybody learn about both religions and books as well as many other ones and just get along? I do not believe in any god in the traditional sense. Yet I believe that I am good person because I do follow many of the teachings of the Bible AND the Koran. Not because that is what is contained in those books, it just happens that they are right in my eyes. I spoke with a neighbour a while ago. He is a Christian, he stated that everything in the Koran is wrong and about hate. I told him to deny the Koran is to deny Jesus. He knew nothing of the writings in the Koran, just as many Muslims know nothing of the bible. If people would all start learning about the teachings of others maybe then everybody could get along and accept the differences and embrace them. Throughout history mankind has fought, killed and warred with each other over these differences without even knowing about the other teachings. Is that what your god wants? Our differences are being used to makes us weaker when they should be making us all stronger. When someone doesn’t like you because of your beliefs, ask them to join you for a coffee or something and discuss and learn about each other. With luck and an open mind you will make a new friend and bring the world that we share one step closer to peace and understanding. Your enemy is an enemy because of lack of understand and knowledge about each other. I am not pointing my finger at any one person, group or religion. I am pointing it at myself and everyone. We all need to learn more about others and different viewpoints. How can you say the beliefs of another are wrong of you know nothing about their views other than that they are wrong and you are right. Just like my neighbour. Discuss, have compassion and understanding and an open mind. Do not try to teach why they are wrong, but rather learn why they think they are right. In all probablility you both with be shocked at how similar your beliefs are. Peace will be with all of us if we have that.

OK……………Thanx bro…………Salaam (Peace) bro :-)

Nice……it’s Awesome, keep up the Good Work!

Looks like muslims do not heed the word of the alledged prophet as muslims continue to kill, kidnap, commit suicide bombings, stonings, honour killings, they hate the jews, treat women as posessions etc etc etc.

Hmmmm………………….OK Sir……………if that’s what YOU think, even though its not true…………well listen up Mr.Big Mouth for nothing…………I have something for you……………………

Looks like Disbelievers DO NOT heed the word of the truth, as they continue to hate, mock, bully, swear, kill, kidnap, they hate Muslims and treat us like criminals, etc etc etc…………So see Sir, your not the ONLY ONE who can talk and express what you believe, so as YOU can see there’s two sides of the story………..now END OF STORY Mr……………..Salaam (Peace) Sir.

Agreed, Some non muslims as well as MUSLIMS do those sort of things.
But we (as non muslims) don’t go around saying we have the “religion of peace”.
We accept our failings and tell truths, unlike your mob.

The unfortunate thing about religion, and I mean ALL religions, is that they think the are right and have the whole truth and therefore everybody else is wrong. Then mankind ends up warring on each other to prove they are right. How about if we ALL learn about ALL religions and religious texts and see how they fit together and compliment each other instead of contradict each other. Think about this; When god or the gods (depending on your belief) mixed up man’s language in the Tower of Babylon story, not only language was mixed up but also the teachings so that mankind would have to work together to get the whole book together and together properly? I am not saying that is what happened. Just a thought. I do not follow any religion. I do not believe in a god or gods in the tradition sense. I do believe in karma and being a good person. I do not care about a person’s religion, colour, financial standing or past. What is important is who they are inside. I do believe that we creations of a godlike entity. Aliens to earth. Many will laugh at me for saying that. But if you study ancient Sumerian teachings (before the (Koran or the Bible were even thought of being written down) they have many of the stories told in the Koran and Bible, but most importantly talk about aliens coming to earth from another planet. The Sumerians had knowledge of the solar system and universe that we are only begining to discover in modern times. You can laugh at me now. But try to have an open mind. If you read the Koran or the Bible with an open mind to this concept you can see references to it as well. That concept supports the beliefs of religions for the most part. And to primitive man an advanced society would appear to be godlike. The Sumerians believed that these aliens geneticall altered our ancestors to become who we are now and to be their slaves and to worship them. Most people find that threatening to their beliefs and religions. I believe it supports their beliefs and religions other than god or the gods didn’t create the universe. But all in all, what I ask of people is to learn about other beliefs and try to get along with people that have different beliefs. We all have to live on this little rock in space together. Learn about everything and keep an open mind. If you do not believe someone else’s beliefs discuss it with them and learn why they believe it and do that with an open mind. Do not attempt to change their mind because that is thinking that they are wrong. Most people belong to and believe in the religion that they were raised in. I do not. I am not saying that I am right. But I have developed my own beliefs based on studying many different views and beliefs. Many Christian have become Muslims and vice versa. Those that have changed their religion I believe are much more enlightened than ones that haven’t because they have learned about something else and developed their own attitude. I am not saying that thise who haven’t are not enlightened. I know there are many that have studied other religions and stayed with their faith. But if you have not studied and learn about other beliefs how can you say it is wrong? I believe all faiths, and I mean ALL, have part of the truth, but not the whole truth. Once mankind can put our differences behind us and embrace those differences and use them to make us stronger instead of weaker, we will finally mature as a species. Mankind is a young species and weak. We are like a child king throwing a temper tantrum when someone says something we don’t agree with. Let’s all grow up and grow together. We can live in peace and harmony if we try to understand each other. Ignorance breeds fear. Fear breeds hatred. Hatred breeds war. War is what many people in power want because it makes them richer and more powerful.

Yeah, yeah, yeah…………….blah, blah, blah…………….keep talking Mr know it all………. :P …………waste of time speaking with someone who just CAN NOT handle the truth.

Thank-you for helping to prove my point my friend. You have just demonstrated the unwillingness of some to talk with others that may have a different view point. I do not claim to know it all. I believe that I even stated that I don’t know everything and that I may be wrong. I will promise you that I am not completely right. I strongly believe that no man has the whole truth, and no single book of worship has the WHOLE truth. But we all have part of the truth. If we put it all together like a puzzle then MAYBE we will have the whole truth. Part of what I was saying was how people do not want to talk about their perceived differences and maybe find some common ground or at least help to educate each other on their own beliefs. Does your god want you to mock and/or damage those who do not know or understand your beliefs? Or would it make your god happier to educate, understand and love those who do not? Would it not make everyone’s god happier if we could all just get along and live in peace? Once again I would like to thank-you my friend for assisting me. Education, understanding and compassion are the only way we will be able to work through this crisis mankind has struggled with since the beginning of our time. Thank-you for your response. I would be more than happy to discuss your beliefs and have you educate me because i am willing with an open mind to learn. I am not trying to challenge your faith. I am trying to strengthen it. I would say the same to you no matter what your faith. If we met somewhere, i would ask you if I could buy you a coffee or something and sit down with me so that we could discuss this and hopefully we would both walk away as friends and both be more enlightened. I would not even attempt to change your beliefs. Maybe widen your thoughts and hopefully you would do the same for me. Have an excellent day and I hope that we have a chance to talk about this more.

Ok…………………thanx for the reply my friend………………….its 100% correct and true how you said if we educated the people and explained to them more about the Islamic belief which will make Allah (SWT) (our god) pleased with us because that way Inshallah (god willing) make them become Muslims………….Let me explain briefly about Islam to you brother………….Islam teaches us to be polite towards others and to do good things (deeds and actions) not to do crimes and all that….those sort of things are haraam (forbidden) in Islam………Islam also teaches us to believe and worship One God which is Allah (SWT) and to also believe in the prophet Muhammed peace be upon him. I like the way how you asked me about this………if you would like to know more please do not hesitate to ask………and I replied to the other man Aldo……..not you……..I called him Mr. know it all so please dont think I was mean to you………..I also want you to explain to that man Aldo…………May Allah (SWT) guide him……….even if you try to explain he wont listen, so its OK no need for it……if you would also like to know more, here is a website where you can ask a Scholar of Islam online and its http://www.askthescholar.com the website is called Ask the Scholar…….Salaam Alaikum Brother and have a excellent day too….and dont forget, you can ask me anything about Islam if you need to, and I hope that was good info for you to understand. Once again Assalaam Alaikum Brother. :-)

This is great. Good effort. May Allah reward you
