The new AMERICAN Quran: a dangerous trick A new Quran is being distributed in Kuwait, titled “The True Furqan”. It is being described as the ayats of the Shaytan and Al-Furqan weekly magazine has found out that the two American printing companies;’Omega 2001′ and ‘Wine Press’ are involved in the publishing of ‘The True Furqan’, a book which has also been titled ‘The 21st Century Quran’! It is over 366 pages and is in both the Arabic and English languages…it is being distributed to our children in Kuwait in the private English schools! The book contains 77 Surats, which include Al-Fatiha, Al-Jana and Al-Injil. Instead of Bismillah, each Surat begins with a longer vesion of this incorporating the Christian belief of the three spirits. And this so called Quran opposes many Islamic beliefs. in one of its ayats it describes having more than one wife as fornication, divorce being non-permissable and it uses a new system for the sharing out of the will, opposing the current one. It states that Jihad is HARAAM. This book even goes as far as attacking Allah, Subhanahu wa Tahala! All this is poisoning our children at approx. $3.

If you take the time to study a little bit about the history of the tribes in South America, Middle East, Africa, India and the far eastern Oriental countries 1400 years ago, you would find that many tribes even until today, allow the marriage of females at a very young age.

Above all it was a tradition and a custom to marry with young girls in past.. King Louis VI married with Marry Antonie when she was only 12.
It is wrong and foolish to judge what past people did based on our standards today.

Is it fair for you to come today and attack our beloved Prophet and call him a child molester when nobody 1400 years ago from his tribe had objected to his marriage? Not even the Pagans of Mecca, nor the Jews and Christians of Medina ever objected to it or used it as a point against Islam as anti-Islamic do today.

THIS MARRIAGE WAS PURELY LEGAL AND JUSTIFIED ACCORDING TO ALL DIVINE RELIGIONS AND WORLD LAWS:

According to human rights and all divine religious laws marriage can take place only when

-Both boy and girl agrees.
-Both sides’ parents are agreed.
-Elder people of both families are agreed.

Since Aisha’s parents both approved of her Marriage with Muhammad, neither did Aisha had ever any objection on this relation.
Narrated Aisha: “The Prophet engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. Notice here that Aisha’s mother and the Muslim women back then were ok with her marriage.
When her parents had no problem with this relation, then who we are to judge and interfere?

Most intelligent and brilliant Muslimah for all times:
Aisha was reported to have been very beautiful, but it is her piety, intelligence and remarkable memory that make her a notable figure in Islamic history. She absorbed vast religious knowledge from the Prophet (peace be upon him) – including memorizing the entire Qur’an – and was witness to much of the early history of Islam. She helped preserve the details of those events, as well as the details of the private and public life of Muhammad (peace be upon him), by narrating more than two thousand hadith.

No sign of depression, fears or low self esteem – She lead a happy and peaceful life, she was known as most courageous and brave woman.

Many of the learned companions of the Prophet and their followers benefited from Aishah’s knowledge. Abu Musa al-Ashari once said: “If we companions of the Messenger of God had any difficulty on a matter, we asked Aisha about it.”

Arwa Bin Zubair says,
“I did not find anyone more proficient (than Aisha ®) in the knowledge of the Holy Quran, the Commandments of Halal (lawful) and Haram (prohibited), Ilmul-Ansab and Arabic poetry. REASON OF THE MARRIAGE:

It wasn’t a physical marriage rather it was just for;

To make strong the friendly relations already existing with Abu Bakr (his closest companion).

To educate and train Aisha so she may serve the purposes of Islam.

To teach her to utilize her capabilities for the sake of Islam.

If Ayesha was sexually tortured by Prophet PBUH at the age of 9, or if she was a victim of CHILD ABUSE OR PEDOPHILE husband, then how could she managed to learn 1000’s of hadiths?? How she was so talented that all of the Muslims came to her for advises and suggestions??.. How comes she lead a extra ordinary and happy life if she was victim of molestation?
Don’t you people know that victim of child abuse becomes a mentally RETARD one?? Don’t you think that sexual harassment at young age affects the mental faculties??

Now, lets come to polygyny point by analyzing all the situations with evidences and referrences:

The institution of marriage has been given tremendous importance in Islam. Generally, in the terms of jurisprudence it is highly recommended, but in many cases due to extraordinary circumstances, it becomes obligatory and a religious duty. For instance, marriage becoming obligatory when there is a chance of adultery or any other similar sin.Moreover, the Prophet Muhammad(saw) demonstrated in detail how polygyny should be put into practice in his divinely guided life-style(Sunnah). Ta’addud(polygyny) was the practice of most of the major sahabah(Companions of the Prophet- may Allah be pleased with them all) as well as many outstanding scholars if the Muslim Ummah(nation) from the earliest time of Islam up until today. Ta’addud was also practised among a portion of thegeneral masses in most Muslim countries before and after the advent of European colonozation.

Having said that, however, there are a few points raised by the opponents(you) of Islaam which should be answered. First among those is the totally erroneous claim that Christianity’s introduction of monogamy not only protected the rights of women but also that it had a civilizing effect on the world in the realm of human relations. First of all, it should be noted that there are NO SCROPTUARAL ACCOUNTS of Jesus prohibiting polygyny, and early Christians were polygynous, following Jewish tradition. [All judges must have had several wives each (Judges 8:30, 10:45, 12:14). King Solomon is said to have had SEVEN HUNDRED wives, princess and THREE HUNDRED concubines(KINGs 9:16, 11:3 cf. S. of Sol. 6:8). His son had EIGHTEEN wives and SIXTY concubines (2 Chron. 11:21).Each of Rehoboam's twenty-eight sons had many wives (2 Chron. 11:21). Even the wise men of the Talmud have given good advice that no man should marry more that FOUR wives, the number Jacob had.]

Some of the church Fathers accused the Jewish rabbis of sensulity, yet not a single church council in the early centuries opposed polygyny nor was any obstacle placed in the way of its practice. In fact, St. Augustine declared openly that he did not condemn it. Luther, on occasion, spoke of it with considerable toleration and was known to have approved the bigamous status of Philip Hesse. In 1531, the Anabaptist openly preached that a true Christian must have several wives. There was even a time in 1650 when some of the Christian leaders resolved that every man should be allowed to marry two women. It is also recorded that the German reformers even so late as the sixteenth century, admitted the validity of a second and third marriage contemporaneously with the forst on default of issue and other similar causes. On fact, it was only after Christianity was revised according to Paulian doctrines that concepts of monogamy were introduced into Christian philosophy in order for it to conform to Greco-Roman culture. Greece n Rome had evolved an institutionalized form of monogamy in societies where the majority of the populace were slaves who could be used freely. Hence what was termed monogamy in theory was in fact unrestricted polygyny.

Secondly, along with the development of monasticism there arose a philosophy which regarded every gratification of the sexual impulse with suspicion and disgust. For those who chose celibacy or self-denial as their way of life, the greatest challenge was their own sexual desires. The writings of early monks are filled with their description of dreams in which they are tormented by beautiful and alluring women. Many Christian saints were reported to have been convinced that they were tempted at night by voluptuous and lascivious female demons called succubi that tormented them. While nuns and other Christian women, on the other hand, asserted that they were visited at night by equally alluring beings called incubi who had sex with them. Women were despised and blamed for corruption based on Eve’s supposed submission to the Devil and her subsequent encouragement to Adam to eat from the forbidden tree. Some Chiristian scholars of the past even interpreted the forbidden tree as sex itself. The following are statements of canonized saints of Christianity concerning women:
“Woman is the daughter of falsehood, a sentinel of Hell, the enemy of peace; through her Adam lost Paradise (St. John Damascene)”.
“Woman is the instrument which the Devil uses to gain possesion of our souls (St. Cyprian)”.
“Woman is the arm of the Devil, her voice is the hissing of the serpent (St. Anthony)”.
“Woman has the poison of an asp, the malice of a dragon (St. Gregory the Great).”

Hence, sex was looked upon as an evil impulse necessary for procreation but despised for pleasure. And, the acceptable form of marriage was reduced to the simplest possible terms, monogamy.

The question remains why a male-dominated society should be so opposed to polygyny when such a large number of its married members practise a form of it by engaging in illicit or casual relationships. Some males self-rightiously assert that monogamy is maintained to protect the rights of women. But, since when has the western male been concerned about women’s rights??? Western society was riddled through and through with socio-economic practices which oppressed women and led to the upsurge of women’s liberation movements in recent year, from suffragates of the early nineteen hundreds to the ERA’s of today. The reality is that monogamy protects the males right to play around without any responsibiltiy, since the incidence of infidelity among them is usually much higher than that among females. The pill and easy access to abortions opened the door to illicit sex and the female wanted to join in the fun. In spite of her natural and general inclinations towards meaningful relationships, she became caught up in the so-called sexual revolution. However, she is still the one who suffers from the side effects of the pill,coil and the loop or the trauma of abortion in much the same way as she suffered in the past the shame of child birth out of wedlock. Meanwhile the male continues to enjoy himself worry-free, aside from the recent plagues of venereal disease, herpes and A.I.D.S.. which are now causing many reassess their sexual habits. Males in general continue to be protected by monogamy, while prostitutes,call girls, mistresses, secretaries,models,actresses, store clerks, waitresses and girl friends remain in their playground. The fact is that institutional polygyny is vehemently opposed by male-dominated western society because it would force men to fidelity. It would oblige them to tale socio-economic responsibility for the fulfillment of their polygynous desires and provide protection for women and children from mental and physical abouse. You might argue that of the stigma of illegetimacy were removed, the problem could be solved without having to resort to the legalization of polygyny. However, every child has a natural desire to know its parents and the denial of that right often leads to serious psychological problems later on in life.

In fact, females have a vested interest in institutional polygyny because of the obvious socio-economic protection it provides. Furthermore, the preponderance of females in the world is an established fact. The death-rate at birth is much higher for boys and women on the whole live longer than men; not to mention, the large numbers of men who die daily in the various wars around the world. Thus, although the ratio may vary from country to country but the results are the same; women outnumber men. This apparent increase in homosexuals within society. Hence there are more females competing for a diminishing number of females. Consequently, there will always remain a large segment of women unable to fulfill their sexual and psychological needs through legetimate means in monogamous societies. This presence in an increasingly permissive society also contributes to the break down of western family structure. A strong family structure is an absolute requirement for a strong and healthy society. And,the only way that the family can remain strong and society cater to the needs of its male and female members is through the Islamic form of marriage of which polygyny is a part.

Marriage has been ordained by Allah as the correct and legal way to produce children and replenish the earth. The family is the basic unit of an Islamic nation or society. Allah has made the desire for mates and offspring instinctual for mankind and animals. Life on earth continues through for children and children are the products of marriage. Nevertheless, marriage in Islam can not be reviewed merely as means for uniting the male body with a female body and producing offspring, nor was marriage instituted just for purposes of satisfying natural desires or quenching passions. Its goal are much deeper in meaning than those obvious physical realities. Allah, the Most High, illuminates this fact in Chapter ar-Room of the Qu’ran: ” And among His signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves that you might live in tranquility(li-taskunoo) with them and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts); Verily in that are signs for those who reflect.”

This tranquility(Sakan) is not simply what one may feel after satisfying sexual impulse but it is the serenity which follows a psychological neem which has been fulfilled. Every individual is aware of having felt a lack or sense of loss within himself/herself which needed completion, a weakness which needed strenghtening or loneliness which could only be removed by someone truly committed to him/her. The calm or emotional rest which one feels as a result of having fulfilled these needs can be termed tranquility. Thus marriage in Islam is more than just a means of obtaining legal sex; it is an extremely important institution which safeguards the rights of men, women and children while satisfying the physical, emotional and intellectual needs of the family members. The Prophet(saw) illustrated the importance of marriage by saying “When a servant of Allah marries, he has completed half of his obligations and he must fear Allah in order to complete the second half.”(Sahih al-jami’ as-Sagir,vol.1,Pp, 136-7,hadith no 430)

Undoubtedly, marriages built on principles of love, honour, respect and mutual caring are far superior to temporary relationships with a variety of partners. Such marriages stabilize society by protecting its primary unit, the family. What would eventually happen to a society which forgets sanctioned relationships allows base desires to rule. What if the women and children left in a dishonourable state without respect and support? Such a society would be lower than the society of animals which are at least governed by instincts which cause them to protect and provide for their young and their mates. Consequently, Islam has placed great stress on the divinely ordained institution of marriage in order to protect society. In fact, the Prophet(saw) branded those opposed to marriage as being geretics and said, “Marriage is a part of my Sunnah(divinely guided way of life). Whoever is displeased with my Sunnah is not from aming us.” Since non-marital sex is forbidden in Islam , marriage protects individuals against immorality by providing outlets for natural urges as well as providing physical and emotional security for both partners.

This material was not put together in defense of polygyny(Ta’addud az-Zawjat), for Allah has already confirmed the right to do so as clearly stated in the Qur’an: ” Marry of the women that please you; two,three or four, but if you fear that you will not be able to deal justly, then only one…” (Qur’an 4:3)

This logic sounds quite true but in fact, it’s far from it. You are trying to judge the moral standards of today based on an obsolete 7th century book, The Quran and claimed perfection. Based on your logic, standards change throughout the ages, thus, Quranic injunctions are irrelevant to be implemented and applied in modern day. Am I right?

The fact is that even if Muhammad married many 6 year old girls subsequent to Aisha, you will still come out and defend his action because you had been brainwashed to accept him as a prophet.

Allow me to poke into the psychology of Aisha who can be said to be “abused” by Muhammad. First, open Suraa At-Tahrim and read the whole chapter. What will you learn? Do you know the reason behind “revelation” of this verse? Muhammad polygamous consorts were unhappy with his favoritism and hence rebelled against him. Suraa At-Tahrim had two version of reasons, Muhammad showed favoritism to Zainab or Muhammad had sex with Mariyya Qibtiyya, a slave girl, one of it could be true. You find for your own and subscribe to any version you like.

Secondly, Aisha hated Ali and waged war against him because Ali was quite critical of her in the event of the Bani Mustaliq when she was accused of adultery. Aisha never praised Ali throughout her life. That’s why Shia contented to believe Aisha conspired with Hafsa to poison Muhammad. Well I am not going to poke deep in to that.

Thirdly, read ALL hadiths narrated by Aisha, she was a mentally disturbed young widowed lady especially with regards to sex. Have you read about the hadith narrated by her regarding the suckling of adult? Also the hadith about how she use her nails to clean the semen on Muhammad’s clothes. This is despicable to be disclosed in the open. You can find more and more with a little research on your part.

We leave Aisha now.

Muhammad virtually exterminate the peaceful 2000 year old Jewish community of Yathrib on alleged betrayal. They had been living there for generations and even intermarried with the Arabian tribes. Ka’ab Ibn Ashraf was an example of a mixed Jewish and Arabian ancestry. When the troublemaker Muhammad appeared on the scene, they were systematically exiled and murdered in cold blood. Even the biased Islamic sources stated the event of the cruelty of Muhammad and his marauding gang of mafia. The torture of Kinana and the beheading of male members of Bani Qurayza were two sad incidents. In the latter, all male members who had grown pubic hair were decapitated and their corpses were thrown into the ditch that dug earlier.

This is unbecoming for a “prophet of mercy”. Very ruthless indeed.

Muhammad was unstable person, he legalized prostitution in the form of Nikah Mut’ah and prohibited it 3 days later. Of course the Shia still keep the tradition. But the Sunnis have their own legalized prostitution in the form of Nikah Misyar.

A person who indulged in sexual relationship with so many women cannot and can never be a prophet, an impostor befit his image better. You complained about sexual indulgence in the West but you glorified sexual indulgence of Muhammad and his gang of thugs?? They made night raid and reduce many towns into ashes, capturing pretty tribal girls as booty and sexually enjoyed them. Is this more moral than an immoral modern person who cohabited with many women now? It’s one of the same. The core is similar, the form of practice may differ.

Do you think Islam will provide antidote for all those immoralities you mentioned? NO. It will introduce another form of immoralities of polygamous marriage, unlimited sex with slave girls, allowance of beating on women, believing in woman’s deficiency in intelligence and branding women as majority dweller of hell. These are worse case scenario.

Muhammad never respect women, not even his mother because he believed her to be in hell. Check out the hadith. I know you know about it.

It is only natural for girls who have never slept with any man to be young in age! In the case of the time that these verses occurred, the girls were as young as three. i still believe that no matter what, the true religion stands and no matter what the disbeliever plots, Allah is the best of all plotters. Allah will guide His book as He has said in the Quran………and nothing will stop the truth from spreading, may ALLAH guide us mulim and may He make us play our roles as we are meant to. but really, this sis not good…… trying to paint us black,……. well, we only pray that Allah guides our faith in Him and may we not be amongst those that will go astray, Allah said that He only guides to thr right path only those that He wills. the best thing for us to do is to Pray for ourselves that Allah should save us from the plots of disbelievers and guide us till our death

When I stand before God on judgement day, He will ask if I accepted Jesus as saviour and Lord. My answer will be yes. I will enter into his kingdom.

When you stand before God, he will ask you the same. You will say ‘No God, I supported Mohammad. I thought he was your messenger. I beleived the quoran was from you.

God will say, “he was not my messenger. You were exposed to the truth often, yet you did not accept the truth.”

I am an apostate. I have read the Quran for 14 years. Go and open the book now and read it with translations.

First, can you detect the incoherence of god in the Quran? if god is omnipotent, how can he created bulk of humanity as hell dweller? Don’t tell me he enjoyed creating and torturing his slaves. This is very sick.

Read the Quran page by page, you can immediately trace a kind of so called battle and confrontation between god and humanity from unbelievers section as if those unbelievers had a choice to opt being borne in correct creed.

You know very well that Quran labeled Unbelievers as impure and Najs, deserve not to be greeted. Can you say “salam” to a Buddhist and eat the lamb and chicken she cooked? You won’t, right? WHY? It’s because they are unclean, that’s Quranic.

Please do not feigned hypocrisy by calling other Unbelievers as brothers and sisters, this is NOT ALLOWED in barbaric Islam. I am really fed up with this double face attitude.

Muslims immigrated to the West and enjoyed publicizing Islam there but the Non-Muslims in Islamic countries are not allowed to publicize their religion and have been severely persecuted. Heard of the fate of Bahaai in Iran, Christian and Hindus in Pakistan? The more Islamic a country become, the more barbaric it turn into in terms of discrimination and oppression of the minorities. WHY????? This is hypocrisy to the max.

Treatment of non muslims as ordained by Allah, The Most Sublime

s for dealing with non-Muslims, the general rule is mentioned in the verse that says what means:

*{Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not made war against you on account of [your] religion, and have not driven you forth from your homes, that you show them kindness (birr) and deal with them justly; surely Allah loves the doers of justice. Allah only forbids you respecting those who made war upon you on account of [your] religion, and drove you forth from your homes and backed up [others] in your expulsion, that you make friends with them, and whoever makes friends with them, these are the unjust.}* (Al-Mumtahanah 60:8-9)

And notice that the word “birr” (translated as kindness) that Allah used in this context is the same word that is used for the type of kindness that a Muslim should show his/her parents as in birr al-walidain )kindness to parents)!!

Concubinage and what does islam say abt it?

First, it is important to define the term “concubine” as it is usually misunderstood. Some think that “concubine” refers to the mistress or the woman who lives a non-marital relationship with a man, and who is inferior in rank to the legal wife. This might be due to the fact that people see famous men like kings and princes having concubines in their courts. Of course, such a relationship is outlawed in Islam.

As for Islam, the term “concubine” refers to a woman slave who is owned by a certain man either through serfdom, or by being a war captive. According to this definition, it becomes obvious that taking concubines, as well as slaves, is out of date. It is a system that existed early in the history of humanity but has ceased to exist any more under the law of abolishing servitude, not only in the Muslim communities, but also all over the world. No one now is allowed to take a slave or a concubine in our modern times; it is criminal to do so.

Islam worked gradually in two directions to free slaves and concubines. The first was by encouraging the believers to buy and free slaves. Almighty Allah offered Paradise as a reward for whoever did that. As a result of such a divine promise, a large number of slaves were freed.

The second was by making the act of freeing slaves a form of kaffarah (punishment or penalty) as a make-up “penalty”, if a person commits some forbidden deeds. And in this way, punishment became pleasing to both the slave and the punished one, who would have wanted to receive God’s forgiveness, for the forbidden deed, by doing the good deed of freeing a slave.

Parallel to that process of gradual freeing — and until all slaves were freed — Allah granted slaves and concubines — who had not yet gained their liberty — many human rights that had never been given to them before.

For example, when a concubine begot a child by her master, the child would immediately be recognized as legal and free. The child would carry the father’s name and inherit the same like any brothers and sisters begotten by wives. As for the concubine herself, she is directly elevated to a higher status, that is of om-el-walad (legal mother of a legal child). Her owner can no longer sell her as a slave and in case he dies, she is automatically free.

No wonder that up to the 17th century, Mamluks — who were slaves owned by the Islamic state — were allowed high education and job opportunities exactly like their masters. They were trained in chivalry and were upgraded in the social rank until they reached the positions of sultans and kings of the whole Islamic state. This was termed in history as the Mamluk State. It was a state that lasted for several hundreds of years and was considered among the most fruitful periods in the history of Islam.

Nobody ever looked with sensitivity or with dissatisfaction at the experience of being ruled by a “slave” who owned by the state. This Mamluk State was in existence simultaneously while Americans were taking African people as slaves and concubines from Africa. These were being treated like animals and deprived from basic human rights, as we have read in history.

I only wanted to clear the idea of concubines as an interesting fact of the past, which has no mention in Islamic life any more in today’s world.

What does right hand possess means?

I did give a comprehensive explanation on the same topic on another post in this blog( tat would help dipel ur misconceptions)

ma malakat aimanukum” (what your right hands possess). This is mentioned in many verses in the Qur’an, like the following:

If any of you have not the means wherewith to wed free believing women, they may wed believing girls from among those whom your right hands possess: And God hath full knowledge about your faith. Ye are one from another: Wed them with the leave of their owners, and give them their dowers, according to what is reasonable: …

Surah 4 Verse 25

This verse confirms what I have just said; opening the door for female slaves or captives to be married by destitute Muslims who cannot afford the dowry of free women. Notice here that the Qur’an uses the expression “what your right hands.” What is the significance of this expression?

The word “right hands” here refers to women taken as prisoners of war. It is by no means an implication of concubinage, for this is totally prohibited in Islam. Nor does it refer to purchasing female slaves from market to be used to satisfy sexual urge. It’s during warfare that the right hand actually takes possession of captives, and this is what the Qur’an means. That’s point number one.

Point number two is that, the word “right hands possess” also has another significance that clearly reflects the great concern Islam has for preserving the rights of those captives. As we know, the right hand has its special merit and privileged functions that man instinctively reserve for it. Imam Kurtubi, in his commentary on this verse, says: “Allah Almighty uses the word ‘right hand’ here for it denotes great honor and respect. It suffices that it’s the one used when referring to spending, as mentioned in the hadith ‘… he who provides charity (seeking only Allah’s reward) in a way that his left hand does not know what his right hand spends …’ And it is the very hand used in making pledge of allegiance … etc.”

All this indicates that the word “what your right hand possess” has a special and glorified meaning in Islamic usage. In fact, it signifies the great care and good treatment that captives or prisoners of wars should be accorded. This is how Islam dealt with the issue from the earliest stages.

All this did not materialize all of a sudden, for slavery was a social ailment that needed to be addressed. So it was a gradual strategy laid down by Islam, not only to eradicate slavery, but also to give the freed slaves a complete social rehabilitation. First of all, Islam stipulated that all masters should take care of their captives; they should not be overburdened with tasks, nor should they be deprived of their human rights. The Prophet (pbuh) made this clear in his hadith that masters should treat their slaves as their brothers and female captives as their sisters, if not in faith, at least in humanity. He said:

“Your servants are thy brethren. Allah has put them under your control. He could, if He willed, make you under their control. Thus, whoever has his brother under his control, let him feed him of his same food and dress him of his same dress. Never saddle them with work that goes beyond their capability. If the work happens to be somehow difficult, lend them a helping hand.”

As for female captives, Imam Bukhari quotes the Prophet, as saying:

“If any of you have a slave girl, whom he gives good education and excellent training, and then he emancipates her and marries her, he shall have a two-fold reward.”

You see; that’s how Islam set the course of emancipating slaves. They should definitely be well treated. Also, educating female captives and marrying them, after emancipation is considered an act of charity, which would earn one great reward. Not only that. Islam further put an end to the habit of using derogative names of “slaves” or “servants”. For in Islam, man must not show servitude to anyone besides Allah the Almighty. So it was stipulated that the captives should be addressed by “fatah” (boy) or “fatat” (girl). Besides, the act of emancipating slaves used to be a competitive work among the Prophet’s Companions, for it was highly recommended by Islam and was considered an act of worship.

What’s more, Islam has also made use of what was an international custom during that era; i.e. the custom of having intercourse with female captives. Here Islam stipulated that if through sexual intercourse, the female slave got pregnant from her master, she would automatically gain her freedom. So would her child, for he’d be born free then. What a wise approach to eliminate a bad habit! So it was not a means of unleashing sexual desires. Otherwise, it would have been something permanent, being pregnant would have availed the slave woman nothing, for she’d remain the property of her master no matter how. No, Islam was not after such a sensual and voluptuous goal.

Prophet(peace and blessings be upon him)’s marriage to Aisha(may Allah be pleased with her)

Prophet’s marriage to `Aisha, the Mother of the Faithful, has always been a subject of attack and criticism by the enemies of Islam. First of all, we want to clarify to people who view this marriage as some sort of brutal act and child abuse that they should try to understand the main purpose of this marriage and the condition of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, before the marriage.

As for the purpose of this marriage, it was purely for sociopolitical reason. The Prophet’s main concern was the future of Islam. He was interested in strengthening the Muslims by all bonds. This also explains the reason why he married the daughter of `Umar, his Second Successor. It was by his marriage to Juwayriyyah that he gained the support for Islam of the whole clan of Bani Al-Mustaliq and their allied tribes. It was through his marriage to Safiyyah that he neutralized a great section of the hostile Jews of Arabia. By accepting Mariya, the Copt from Egypt, as his wife, he formed a political alliance with a king of great magnitude. So his marriage to `Aisha could never be of anything save cementing his relation with Abu Bakr, `Aisha’s father.

As for the Prophet’s condition before this marriage, it clearly explained what we’ve said that it was a purely sublime aim and purpose that motivated him to marry `Aisha. That’s why the marriage was not consummated until sometime after the emigration to Madinah, when she had reached maturity. The motives of this marriage can be understood to be anything except passion and physical attraction. However, he lived with her, in addition to Sawdah, for five to six years, when he was 56 years of age, without taking any other wife.

One important point we have to clarify here is that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when proposing to `Aisha, was not the first suitor, for, according to many historians, Jubair ibn Mut`am proposed to her before the Prophet, peace and blessings for him. This gives an indication that `Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, was mature enough for marriage at that age.

irstly, Prophet’s proposal to `Aisha came through a suggestion made by Khawalh bint Hakim as a sign of strengthening the relation with his Companion Abu Bakr and confirming his love for him.

Secondly, the fact that `Aisha, before the Prophet proposed to her, was being pursued by Jubair ibn Mut`am, indicates that she was mature enough for marriage, according to the prevailing tradition at that time, if not, the Quraish people, who would never waste any chance to insult the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would have found this marriage as a golden opportunity to pour on him rain of insults. Rather they found nothing wrong in this engagement, and they received the news of the Prophet’s proposal for `Aisha as something usual, and even, expected.

`Aisha was not the first case, for many girls married at her same age to men who were at their fathers’ age. Hala, the cousin of Amina bint Wahb was married to Abdul-Muttalib on the same day his son `Abdullah married Aminah bint Wahb who was at Hala’s same age. Also, the Companion `Umar ibn Al-Khattab married the daughter of Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah honor his face, while he was at her grandpa’s age.

After the passage of many centuries, we find now some Orientalists who try to strike a comparison between the conditions of our present time and what was existing 1400 years ago. They are trying to apply the criterions of the Western society to that society that existed in the Arabian Peninsula very long ago.

It should be noted that in the hot regions, it’s normal for a girl to attain maturity at a very early age. Thus the case is totally different from that which does exist in the cold regions where a girl does not attain puberty before 21 [Physicians maintain that the age of puberty in the hot regions normally ranges from 9 to 16]. At all rates, it should be stressed that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, on marrying `Aisha, never aimed at fulfilling a lust or satisfying a desire; rather, his aim was to strengthen his relation with the most beloved Companion of his.

Had it been true that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, aimed at fulfilling a lust or satisfying a desire, he would have done this while still in his youth when he was still free from the responsibilities of delivering Allah’s call. At his early age, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, accepted to marry Khadija, may Allah be pleased with her, who was 15 years older than him. He also never married a new wife until after her death.

Sufferings in the world, why is it so?

Indeed Allah is All-Powerful (Al-`Aziz) and He is able to do all things (`ala kull sha’in qadir). The Qur’an has mentioned this hundreds of times. It is also mentioned in the Qur’an that Allah is the Creator and He is the Best Creator. “Glory be to Allah, the best Creator.” (Al-Mu’minun: 14)

But then the question comes why do pain and sufferings exist in the world. We find sickness, old age and death. We see things that are ugly, people who are insane and foolish. There are storms, earthquakes, floods, draught and famine. We also see people commit sins, show disloyalty, unfaithfulness, greed and insincerity. We see people commit rapes, murders; they fight and make wars. We know all these and many more problems. There are evils caused by human beings and there are natural disasters. There are suffering for individuals and there are those that involve a large number of people.

But we also know that this is not the whole story. Besides all these negative things, we also see beauty, health, prosperity, life, birth, wisdom, intelligence, growth and progress. We also see goodness among people, faith, sincerity, charity, love and the spirit of sacrifice. We also see a lot of virtue and piety. It is wrong to see one side of the coin and not to see the other side. Any philosophy that concentrates on one aspect of the creation and denies or ignores the other side is partially true and partial truths are no truth at all.

Strictly speaking, the question should not be why does Allah allow suffering, but how much Allah protects us and saves us all the time in spite of our violations and negligence. The Qur’an says:

“If Allah were to punish people according to what they deserve, He would not leave on the back of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them respite for a stated Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His servants.” (Fatir:45)

But sometimes Allah does punish people because of their violations of His laws whether they are physical or moral. The Qur’an tells us that many nations and communities were destroyed because of their sinful lifestyles:

“If they treat thy (mission) as false, so did the Peoples before them (with their Prophets), the People of Noah, and Ad and Thamud. Those of Abraham and Lut; and the Companions of the Madyan people; and Moses was rejected (in the same way). But I granted respite to the Unbelievers, and (only) after that did I punish them: but how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! How many populations have We destroyed, which were given to wrong-doing! They tumbled down on their roofs. And how many wells are lying idle and neglected, and castles lofty and well-built?” (Al-Hajj: 42-45)

Allah sometimes allows some people to suffer to test others, how they react to them. When you see a person who is sick, poor and needy, then you are tested by Allah. Allah is there with that suffering person to test your charity and your faith. In a very moving Hadith Qudsi (Divine Hadith) the Prophet, peace be upon him, said:

“Allah will say on the Day of Judgment, ‘O son of Adam, I was sick and you did not visit Me.’ He will say, ‘O my Lord, how could I visit You, when you are the Lord of the Worlds.’ Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was sick and you did not visit him? Did you not know that if you had visited him, you would have found Me there?’ Allah will say, ‘O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not.’ He shall say, ‘O my Lord, how could I feed you and you are the Lord of the Worlds?’ And Allah will say, ‘Did you not know that My servant so-and-so was in need of food and you did not feed him? Did you not know that if you had fed him, you would have found that to have been for Me?’ ‘O son of Adam, I asked you for water and you did not give Me to drink.’ The man shall say, ‘O my Lord, how could I give You water, when You are the Lord of the Worlds?’ Allah will say, ‘My servant so-and-so asked you for water and you did not give him to drink water. Did you not know that if you had given him to drink, you would have found that to have been for Me.’ (Muslim, Hadith no. 4661)

Prophet `Isa (Jesus), peace be upon him, is also reported to have said something similar. (See Matthew 25: 35-45)

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘You will not enter Paradise until you have faith, and you will not have faith until you love each other. As a matter of fact Islam forbids vain or evil talk, as clarified by the following Qur’anic verse: ‘And when they hear vain talk, they turn away therefrom and say: To us our deeds, and to you yours; peace be to you: we seek not the ignorant.’ (Al-Qasas: 55) Allah’s Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: ‘The Muslim is he from whom people are safe from his tongue and hand (actions).’

The fact you have no understanding of scripture, is my answer. Muslims think they know truth, but their defense is always in hatred and anger. If Mohamad is truth, he needs no defense. I dont need to desfend the Holy Trinity, or my belief. I speak only Gods wil … That all men should come to the knowledge of truth! this is written in his bible, both the TORAH AND THE NEW TESTAMENT!

Jesus sent those who believe in his name to spread the gospel. I have been given authority through his name to reveal the truth. If you are closed to the real truth then may God have mercy upon you and open your eyes to His truth.

The very fact you question, The father son and Holy Spirit reveals that you have not the spirit of truth working in you.

Ismeal was not the chosen son, neither is Mohamad the messenger of God, UNLESS HE proclaims JESUS – HE IS NOT TRUTH, HE IS A FALSE PROPHET.

I am not here to defend my belief,neither to defend the Trinity. The true God needs no defense.

I am here as the authority of Jesus Christ. When he died for me on the cross he said I am to preach the gospel. I am doing what my God has commissioned I do.

All you need to know is this: once you have heard the truth, you are held accountable. there is nolonger any reason for deception. Fall down on your knees and pray to God with an earnest heart and he will reveal the truth of the Trinity to you. IT IS NOT WISE TO DISPUTE THAT WHICH YOU DONT UNDERSTAND.

The words you quote from Song of Solomon is the writting of Solomon to his bride, these scriptures can be misrepresented by those who are ignorant, be wise.

In Genesis Chapter 1:26a God said, Let US make man in our image, after OUR likeness.

This scripture reveals that God was not alone at the beginning of Creation.

The bible is metaphorical, which means to you who are uneducated, that every word is not to be interpreted literally.

The truth of JESUS CAN ONLY BE REVEALED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

Jesus was not a literal son, of God. He is God in person, therefor part of the three fold parts of God. God the Father, Jesus the Messiah, and the Holy Spirit which is the Spirit given only to those who are born of the Spirit of God.

No man can receive the spirit of God, unless he receives the son. You will never understand the true meaning of Jesus, as son unless you are a believer. The truth is not available to those who doubt Jesus’s birth, crusifixion or his resurrection.

Jesus was crusified in the flesh. and rose as Spirit. He sits at the right hand of the father, he is part of God, part of the three fold parts of One God.

Mohammad’s body is laying stinking in some grave somewhere in the middle east, not seated at the right hand of the Father, like Jesus.

Muslims cannot understand this because God has blinded your eyes to the truth, unless you repent and call out to him out of an earnest heart you will continue in your folly.

Jesus was the sacrifice, for our sins.. We dont have to take a lamb and sacrifice it for our own sins, Jesus paid the price. You continue to sacrifice a humble little lamb, while Jesus, God, as man did it once for all!

Start by reading chapters 7 onward.
Jesus is prophesied as Immanuel, God with us.

I was a muslim for 29 years. I followed blindly the same way you do. I protected my belief just as you do. But I have now been shown the truth.

I have read and studied your Quran, I prayed in the name of your prophet,it doesnt change the truth.

JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY, TRUTH AND LIGHT.

Your Quran was written by Mohammad, God didnt come down from heaven and write the words and hand it to him. Most of what I read in your book is unclear and seems written by a child, or a man of illiterate understanding.

When reading the bible, nothing contridicts itself. Whatever was written in the old testament, whatever was prophesied by Moses, Isaiah, Daniel, David etc has come to pass in the birth, life, crusifixtion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Were in Mohammads life has he ever lived like Jesus, if he is the one you say he is, howcome he didnt endure what was prophesied of the Messiah.

My only word to you is this – Do not follow blindly that which is not the truth. Pray and ask God, for understanding then only can you tell me that you know truth.

I have never read such stupid understanding as I do from the muslim world. To educated people your understanding is clouded in wrong doctrines, uncivilised thinking and yes stupidity

Let me tell you one thing in our holy book Qur’an we have a test to all of mankind even Muslim’s to ensure that the religion is true.
it says anyone that doubts the religion and wants to prove it then carry out the test which the true creator has given to mankind. many have tried (including scholars and the best of Arabic speakers) but all has failed this test has been here for as long as has Islam. till this date no one has proved it wrong.

The test was, is and will be to all those that are blind to create – a book, if not a chapter, and if not that then a verse like which is in the Qur’an.

This authenticates the existence of the Qur’an and that it came from the one and only Allah.

this is indeed a dangerous sign. other nations went astray due to isolation between religion and daily life, and Muslims are following it. no doubt we had to follow, as per our beloved Prophet’s hadees, ‘you will copy them to the extent that if they enter the house of ‘goah’, you will also’, truly He could never be wrong.
the concern for me is Muslims’ getting away from religion is the way to destruction!
i’ve been meeting our brethren who live in the west, FALL HAS STARTED ALREADY. they don’t know the number of paras in Quraan, what is Khulfa-e-rashideen, what and from where comes hadees, etc and nobody is bothered even to know.
this will make the work of Americans very easy. they will include this fake in their syllabus for Islamic studies after few years. if our people don’t try to remain informed, if not them, the next generation will believe it to be the original. or at least take it to be ‘the new testament’ or something on lines of bible, and rather feel proud to be more progressive and enlightened.

Yes, but with some extreme condition. If you want to have multiple wife (at most four) then you need permission from your previous wives. You must have have to show some really considerable reason (eg. your previous wife is not able to having child etc.).
You must not avoid any of your wife and maaannny more. It is actually a long list. And practically very hard to obey (somewhat nearly impossible). So, it is not good idea to have multiple wife same time.
Even when you are going to marry there are lots of condition for male. Those are not so easy task. And we muslim often forget about those. That is not doing any good.

Thank you for your interest. I would suggest you to read Quran (ofcourse with detail explanation, not necessarily it have to arabic). I am sure you would be surprise, if you think and read with detail.

The Quran and Sunnah do not require you to have permission of your first wife to marry another wife. Also, Allah has not made is so hard/impossible as you seem to imply.

The obligation on a man with more than one wife is that he should treat them equally to the best of his abilities.

Having more than one wife is actually a solution to many of societies problems.

There is a book called ‘Polygny in Islam’ by Umm Abdulrahman which explains these in a lot more detail.
