Is Jesus [pbuh] Really God ?? – A Biblical Analysis

Here are some of the reasons why Jesus [pbuh] is NOT GOD :

Jesus [pbuh] :

  • A Powerless “GOD” :

New International Version (©1984)

By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me. – John [5:30]

  • A “GOD” with NO knowledge of hereafter :

New International Version (©1984)

“No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

-Mark [13:32]

  • A “GOD” with NO knowledge of seasons :

New International Version (©1984)

Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs.

-Mark [11:13]

  • A THIRSTY “GOD” :

New International Version (©1984)

Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I am thirsty.”

-John [19:28]

  • A WEEPING “GOD” :

“Jesus WEPT.

-John [11:35]

  • A “GOD” tempted by DEVIL :

New International Version (©1984)

and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals, and angels attended him.

New International Version (©1984)

My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all.

-John [10:29]

New International Version (©1984)

.. the Father is greater than I.

-John [14:28]

New International Version (©1984)

But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.

-Luke [11:20]

New International Version (©1984)

These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

-John [14:24]

A LOGICAL PERSON CAN NOW  JUDGE IF JESUS [PBUH] IS GOD !!

Reasons why the Jesus of the Bible is God:

KJV Bible scripture clearly illustrates that all three persons of the trinity are irrefutably referred and identified as God, and that Jesus Christ was a pre-existing personality before the incarnation in the Old and New Testament. The Christian stand point is that a single God, by the name of Jehovah, exists in three hypostasis, and can speak of Him self as one singular Being or as His Persons.

New Testament Scripture:

2 Peter 1:17
For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

“Clear evidence the Father is refereed to as God. For he received from God the Father honour and glory, not as an inferior from a superior, for he was equal in glory with the Father, and was, and is, the brightness of his Father’s glory.”

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

“The meaning is: that the “Word” had an existence before the world was created. This is not spoken of the man Jesus, but of that which “became” a man, or was incarnate. Was the Word – Greek, “was the λόγος Logos.” The Son of God may be called “the Word,” because he is the medium by which God promulgates (announces) His will and issues His commandments.”

John 1:3
All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

“Proof at once of all that is said before; as that He was in the beginning; and that He was with God the Father in the beginning; and that He was God.”

John 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us

“The word “flesh,” here, is evidently used to denote “human nature” or “man.” It is not simply affirmed that he was flesh, but that he was made flesh, implying that he had pre-existence.”

John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

“There could not be a more distinct and clear declaration of the pre-existence of Christ than this. “

John 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Jesus, claiming to the Church, that He was God, the very same from the Old Testament, the “I am” who spoke to Moses from the burning bush. The Jews understood this claim, as they picked up stones to kill Jesus for blasphemy for identifying himself as the God of Abraham.

John 10:30
I and my Father are one.

In the Greek, the translation reads as “I and my Father, we are in union” in the context of deity. This more accurately displaying their unity of position as distinguishable persons within the one Godhead.

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

“There are three that bear record – The Father, who bears testimony to his Son; the Word or Λογος, Logos, who bears testimony to the Father; and the Holy Ghost, which bears testimony to the Father and the Son. And these three are one in essence, and agree in the one testimony, that Jesus came to die for, and give life to, the world.”

Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

“Granville Sharp’s rule” provides grammatical evidence that all the three personal articles must be distinct persons existing simultaneously. We have the trinity in baptism.

Philippians 2:5-8
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

The text refers to Jesus Christ “being” (a more correct term “existing”) in the form of God, who emptied himself, took upon himself the form of a slave, and lived as a man, showing evidence of his pre-existence once more.

John 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

The term “greater” here was not to imply that the Son was not a part of the Godhead. From Philippians 2:5-8, we understand that Jesus voluntarily surrendered His right to act independently as deity as the incarnate man, and was totally dependent on the Father and Holy Spirit to operate all works through Him.

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

After the resurrection, Jesus reclaimed his Authority as God of all that is in heaven and earth. No created creature could claim this divine title.

Hebrews 1:8
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

This is a dialogue which existed between the Father and the Son before the incarnation. This evidence of a pre-existing personality talking to the father cannot be eliminated personality wise or grammatically.

The raising of Jesus Christ front the dead:

Acts 3:26
Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.

John 2:19-21
Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body.

Romans 8:11
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Scriptural evidence that all three persons of the trinity, Jehovah, raised the body Jesus from the dead.

Old Testament Scripture:

Proverbs 8:22
The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

“He declares by this the divinity and eternity of this wisdom, which he magnifies and praises through this book: meaning by this the eternal Son of God, Jesus Christ our Saviour, whom John calls the Word that was in the beginning John 1:1.”

Zechariah 12:14
And I (God the Father) will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit (God the Holy spirit) of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced (God the Son), and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

This Old Testament verse , is a prophetic depiction of the roles of the trinity in the New Testament.

Deuteronomy 6:4,5
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD: And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might

“Jehovah our God is the only living and true God; he only is God, and he is but One God. Let us not desire to have any other. The three-fold mention of the Divine names, and the plural number of the word translated God, seem plainly to intimate a Trinity of persons.”

Scripture uses the word “us” as evidence of plurality of persons in the Old Testament:

Genesis 1:26
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness

The Epistle of Barnabas, in Chapter VI, although not part of scripture, may offer a key to the dialogue, in reference to this passage comments with : ” These things [were spoken] to the Son.”

Genesis 11:17
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech

Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me

The book of Revelation holds the final key to scriptural evidence:

Revelations 1:7,8
Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Revelation 1:17,18
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Revelation 21:5,6
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:13
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Revelation 22:16
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Isaiah 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God

In light of the Old Testament, these important scriptures identifies the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega, the one who was had lived, and was dead, and He who make all things new, as Jesus Christ, Jehovah God.

Lets compare Jesus with Mohammad.
Jesus is Holy and died for the sins of the world. Mohammad killed many people including believers of Jesus Christ. Jesus did not marry. Mohammad has many wives and married a nine year old girl(Only a pedophile would do such a thing). The father is in Jesus and Jesus is in the Father. Mohammad kisses a meteorite stone. Now if you have an intelligent mind. Who is holy Jesus or Mohammad? Jesus said the Devil came to kill, steal and destroy. Jesus came so that we may have life. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Jesus. Mohammad is a fraud an an antiChrist. He is the 666 mentioned in the bible. It was mentioned that their pitch will burn for generation because the devil wants all including Muslims to die for he hates God and the Son of God. Many Muslims dont understand the quran because it is written in Arabic. They worship a God they do not know and understand. Jesus is the living word of God. God is Almighty and He became man to fulfill the prophesy of Moses and the Prophets.
Jesus is telling all Muslims to come out of Islam and embrace the HolyBible. Jesus(y’Shua) is the great I AM of Moses. Moses wrote about Abraham. Believe and you will be saved. For why would you die? Jesus is is the life and the resurrection of the life. Believe in Jesus Christ for he is coming soon.

I believe in the Holy Bible
Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God
Jesus is the Messiah
He is the great I AM of Moses( Moses wrote about Abraham)
Jesus said before Abraham was born, I AM.
Jesus is the Word became Man.
God is the Word.
God is Almighty.
He appear as a Man in the Old Testament as Angel of the Lord.

John 1:1-18
In the begining was the word, and the word was with God, and the word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. I’m him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. There was a man sent from God, whose name wad John. The same came for a witness of that light. Thar was the true light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received Him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become tje sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man but of God. And the word was made flesh, and Dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the father,) full of grace and truth. John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was beforr me. And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth. Came by Jesus Christ. No Man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the father, he hath declare him.
