Black Stone – الحجر الأسود
The Black Stone called al-Hajar-ul-Aswad in Arabic is a Muslim object of reverence, which according to Islamic tradition dates back to the time of Adam and Eve. It is the eastern cornerstone of the Kaaba, the ancient sacred stone building towards which Muslims pray, in the center of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
The Stone is roughly 30 cm (12 in.) in diameter, and 1.5 meters (5 ft.) above the ground.
When pilgrims circle the Kaaba as part of the Tawaf ritual of the Hajj, many of them try, if possible, to stop and kiss the Black Stone, emulating the kiss that it received from the Islamic prophet Muhammad. If they cannot reach it, they are to point to it on each of their seven circuits around the Kaaba.
The Stone is broken into a number of pieces from damage which was inflicted during the Middle Ages. The pieces are held together by a silver frame, which is fastened by silver nails to the Stone.
Small History of Stone
the Stone fell from Heaven to show Adam[pbuh] and Eve where to build an altar and offer a sacrifice to God. The Altar became the first temple on Earth. Muslims believe that the stone was originally pure and dazzling white, but has since turned black because of the sins it has absorbed over the years. Islamic tradition holds that Adam’s[pbuh] altar and the stone were lost in the process of Noah’s Flood and forgotten. It was Abraham who found the Black Stone at the original site of Adam’s[pbuh] altar when the Archangel Gabriel revealed it to him. Abraham ordered his son–and the ancestor of Prophet Muhammad[pbuh]–Ishmael to build a new temple in which to imbed the Stone. This new temple is the Kaaba in Mecca.
Touching or kissing the Black Stone has a profound impact on the faithful as it is suppose to count in their favor on judgment day. that the Prophet said that it is the Right Hand of God on Earth.
1. The Black Stone was sent down by Allaah to this earth from Paradise.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“The Black Stone came down from Paradise.”
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 877; al-Nasaa’i, 2935. The hadeeth was classed as saheeh by al-Tirmidhi).
2. The Stone was whiter than milk, but the sins of the sons of Adam made it black.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said:
“When the Black Stone came down from Paradise, it was whiter than milk, but the sins of the sons of Adam made it black.”
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 877; Ahmad, 2792. )
(a) Al-Mubaarakfoori said in al-Marqaah: This means, the sins of the sons of Adam who touched the stone, caused it to turn black. The hadeeth should be taken at face value, because there is no reason not to, either narrated in a report or by virtue of common sense.
(Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi, 3/525)(b) Al-Muhibb al-Tabari said: The fact that it is black is a lesson for those who have insight. If sins can have this effect on an inanimate rock, then the effect they have on the heart is greater.

3. The Black Stone will come forth on the Day of Resurrection and will testify in favour of those who touched it in truth.
The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said concerning the Stone:
“By Allaah, Allaah will bring it forth on the Day of Resurrection, and it will have two eyes with which it will see and a tongue with which it will speak, and it will testify in favour of those who touched it in sincerity.”
Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 961; Ibn Maajah, 2944
(4) Touching the Stone is one of the things by means of which Allaah expiates for sins
the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say:
“Touching them both [the Black Stone and al-Rukn al-Yamani] is an expiation for sins.”
(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 959. This hadeeth was classed as hasan by al-Tirmidhi and as saheeh by al-Haakim (1/664). Al-Dhahabi agreed with him).

Dont know about all the religion stuff who was first who’s real or not but I do know one thing you better believe in the one and only God or what ever name you choose to use its only one supreme creater. Have a scientist approve or disapprove that.

It’s a pagan idol. Muslims are in utter idolatry. Look at it. It’s a huge vagina, it comes from sex worship. The idol originally was for Ba’al Peor (Lord of the Opening, as in Vagina). Arabs used to be polytheists and this was one of their gods’ idols, Muhammed wanted them to stop worshipping it but many wouldn’t stop so in order to keep the appearance of authority he instead commanded that Muslims should pray towards it 5 times a day. You Muslims out there need to repent and quit following after idol (worthless) Allah. Turn to the LIVING GOD YHWH and believe in His Son’s sacrifice on the tree 2000 years ago for you where He shed His blood for all of Y’sra’el and the rest of the world for the forgiveness of all sin and start obeying Him, guarding/keeping His commandments. DO IT NOW! Open up a Bible and start reading and ask and cry out to God to reveal Himself to you and teach you the Truth! He is real and is very capable of communicating with you and will! WAKE UP!

Isn’t Islam today’s fastest growing religion? O but I guess now most likely according to you He probably never said this since it doesn’t fit with the Quran. Correct?
PS. Don’t bother telling me that Christianity is huge too and is a broad way. I know. That’s not a problem for me since the prophets, apostles and Anointed One never preached Christianity or most of it’s doctrines. They preached the only religion/devotion/worship which is God alone and walking in His Way, Torah, and His way out for us not walking in it previously if we are willing to repent. He preached giving our whole heart, life and might to Him, denying our fleshly desires and following Him, to make Him our only true affection.

Galatians 3:13 Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Torah, having become a curse for us – for it has been written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree.” (Deuteronomy 21:23.)
God, namely the Word of of God who is God took the punishment for Y’sra’el that she was supposed to receive for her disobedience so He took on flesh and came and took that curse of the Torah on Himself that she had so He could bring her back into the bond of the everlasting covenant and He also took did this for all the rest of the world who will receive the Light and they also can be forgiven, redeemed, sanctified and be reconciled back to God being atoned for by the blood of the Lamb/Red Heifer/Azazel Goat and be grafted in to the common wealth of Y’sra’el and partake of the same promises and covenants and the blessings that come with it. You can have this too. And I’m not talking about the fake political Zionist state of Israel today either. They are still blinded because they have had faith in the world and it’s help instead coming back to the covenant and faithfully obeying God and trusting in Him to rescue them because most of them most likely delight in evil.

if i told you somethink that science could only prove in the yearr 3200 what would u say? uw ould say i must of got my infomation from the creator of the thing that created that item that science proved such as the first surah revealed surah al alaq the second verse goes “Has created man from a alaq” this word through out time has had 3 meanings
1) a blood clot
2) something that clings
3) a leech like substance
only recently science has proved that a baby in the tummy “embryo” looks like all three things
and this was writtin 1400 years ago by a man who was instructed by god “the creator of the scienctific fact”

yeh but lisson to this no disrespect as a muslim we have to belive in jesus may peace be upon him . and fruther more im not the gratest of muslims but we hould not be judging a religion by its people as no one is perfect but rather go to the source . the quran and bible . the bible does contain words of god but contains others aswell. thats why scientific errors are in their the quran says mensions that our skin after being burnt in fire of hell will be regrown for us to feel the pain ” science has only proven that skin has reseprecals which is responsiable for us feeling pain recently so please brothers and sisters do not judge read your bible as we will read ours then swope and read each others and talk and im sure inshallah you will be guided . but remember have a opened mind if you read with the intention that u will do not want to udnerstand u will not

I am a proud sikh and accourding to islam i am a kafir and a proud one just by beliving in another religion does not make u bad all religions christanity judism sikhism islam hinduism even buddism believe in one god but have diffrent preachs
many muslims do not belive guru nanak spun the kabbha but he did in those days mecca was in a desert not in a city and people could not identifty diffrent people of diffrent religions and in the koran it says that the kabbha came to give the blessing to a hajji lady some thing like that i can not remember fully so if the kaabha spun once why can’t it again

I don’t know where you get your facts or predictions from, but if all or Prophet Muhammad(PBUH) mentioned something in the Quran or Haddith about something happening to Sri Lanka then I wouldn’t doubt it. It would be helpful if you could show me proof or evidence to back up your weird and random prediction. Surely, if there was something like that to happen then it would be one of many of Allah’s signs to mankind.

alright look im a muslim and i belive ther is only one god ther will only be one god and we truly dont know if sri lanka is actually goeing to flood this is all in Allahs hands. Allah is bigger than angeles by the way one angels wing covers 1/2 of earth so image ALLAH he is way bigger than them. in islam we should respect other people ther religeone culture everything.

Wasn’t the black stone worshipped by Arab pagans n kaaba.doesnt it say n haadiths tht prophet Mohammed solved a dispute between arab tribes by asking them to put the stone in a piece of cloth n each carrying each end. Moreover wasn’t kaaba the old pagan temple.

After Prophets Abraham and Ismail there were many things that happened in the kabba and mostly all of the prophets after Abraham and Ismail were in Palestine. The Kabba was taken over by tribes that believed in idols and statues and crap. But after Prophet Isa who was the last prophet born in Palestine, there came our Messenger(pbuh) and he united all the polytheists with Islam. Also the Messenger(pbuh) did put the stone back in the kabba by resolving a problem with the tribal leaders.

Deep deep perspective I must say, Gabriel pointing out the lost stone, then advising where the altar should be. We must admit, the flood must have been devastating, many lives lost.
Today, we experience a flood day to day of war, that plagues the entire region, and an energy that is prevalent in the entire world, Hate!
