Making of Black Cloth(Kiswa) Covering Kaaba!
In the Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Most Kind
The Kaa’ba is covered by a black cloth known as ‘Kiswa’.
Special factory is designed for the making of Kiswa in Makkah.
It costs approx. SR 17million USD.Its produced & changed every year.
The cloth is made of 670kgs of silver dyed black, about 120kgs of pure gold& 50kgs of silver used in writing the Qur’anic verses over the cloth.
The total area of the cloth is 658sqr meter.

Bro I need your help. I need a video/clip of the Making of the Kiswah, such as this one: http://ishare.rediff.com/video/others/making-of-kiswa-kabah-cover-part-1-/824372 but of higher quality as largescreen would be too grainy. Any advice would be most appreciated.

This kiswa is made every year because people tear it and bring it with them to their home as a remembrance (as far as I know that this statement is false others claim it to be true).

where we can buy the shahada in this original kiswa art ( black brokat with golden letters ) i`ts amazing this art . only in cairo ? i`m from swiss ..

i am computersied embroidery designer,i am from lahore pakistan embroidery designer, love to see these kind of work, allah is great ,sallam to all workers who make this , i want to make kiswa on computrised embroidery machine , but how can i get drawing of kiswa in actual size, can u share ur drawing with me if posiable , pls from owais misbah
